SECTION 324 NOTICE - Eddy County ND

Starting in 1988, the Hazardous Chemicals Preparedness and Response Program requires yearly reporting of inventory hazardous and toxic chemicals stored across North Dakota.

Typical facilities reporting are:

  • bulk fuel plants;
  • anhydrous ammonia plants;
  • propane plants;
  • agricultural processing plants;
  • energy producing sites; and,
  • oil producing sites.

According to Section 324 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, the Eddy County Local Emergency Planning Committee is required to inform the public that the Tier II reports have been submitted.

These reports are on file in the Emergency Management Office located at the Eddy County Courthouse and may be reviewed during normal business hours which are 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
