The Clerk of District Court:

• Attends each court session for the district court
• Keeps records for the office, schedules court hearings
• Monitors payment schedules for monies owed by defendants, including restitution, fines, costs and fees, and monitors conditions that are to be complied with
• Acts as custodian of books, papers and records filed in that office
• Keeps records of orders & judgments of the court
• Draws names of jurors, keeps records of jurors and witnesses for trials
• Maintains exhibits presented in court
