WEED MOWING NOTICE

All grass and weeds along regularly traveled Eddy County and Eddy County township roads must be mowed on or before October 1, 2023 by the landowner or operator as required by North Dakota Century Code 63-05-02. Mowing along the slope and ditch bottom must have a maximum stubble height of 4 inches. The minimum width of cut must be no less than 9 feet.

Areas that are hayed must also meet the 4” stubble height requirement.

Haystacks and bales must be removed by October 1 or they will be disposed of so they will not create a snow problem.

Failure to comply with this order will result in the cost of mowing being charged to the Eddy County landowner.

All taxpayers that do not want to be charged for mowing ditches along their property must have this work completed before October 1.
