Veteran Service Officer duties:
- To assist veterans and their families accessing military and US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) benefits
- Answer questions and advise veterans on federal and state benefit programs
- Helping veterans and their dependents file claims
- Represent Veterans in VA hearings
- Direct veterans to appropriate resources
- Provide educational materials
